This is why I categorically ignore invitations to join anything new online these days. We don't really need another chat program, another picture sharing area, another video sharing website, etc. Part of why I started my blog was so I could keep my naughty online friends up to date on what we're up to. Don't need all those other bells and whistles, really.

hmmm... I have invites from both you and Madame X lol - but I think I'll play it safe and not register, as I'm beginning to wonder if the very act of registration causes the invites to your entire address book thing to happen... otherwise how did you manage to make the same mistake? All very weird...

I can understand your embarrassment though. I once thought I'd sent a really private text message to all of my contacts in my phone. Bank managers, customers, parents, grand parents etc really didn't need to know the finer details of my sex life.

Elaine.. that is soooooooooooo funny.. I accepted the invite (thought it was a special invite!!!! sniff, sob,) then just as I was going to 'click' I realised my entire address book had little boxes with ticks in them!!!! HORROR, the boss, the book club, the bank???? lucky I unticked them all ;o)
Gotta get up earlier than that to catch me out!!!!

I too invited my whole address book to join hi5! I'm horrified. I think you should have warned me that this was likely to happen. WHY DIDN'T YOU? I will now have my whole family including husband, and docters, bank, work coleague's etc,etc, thinking that I'm looking for a date! Well thanks FRIEND.
