I absolutely love the imported snowman. That is EXACTLY what Christmas is about -- the magic that love makes.


And love is magic, make no mistake about that. I like to be Joe Cynic (with a side of Harold Smartmouth), but I'm really pretty smooshy, when you get right down to it. Merry Christmas, you sweet lady. Hope yours is full of lovewonder.

Your post captures the essence of what this holiday is about. It isn't about churches, or presents, or even a baby born long ago. It's about loving each other today. Why we as a species do such a poor job of it is beyond me. But at least here in Blogland we practice it every day.
