Could always just disable anonymous comments. Personally if someone wants to hide themselves completely I really have no interest in hearing their thoughts. They can save it for their journal that I'll never read.

Geeze. Absolutely unbelievable.
Start with the fact that these comments couldn't be more patently untrue -- you are both fascinating in soul and monumentally beautiful in form, both that perfect body and that spectacular face.
Even forgetting that, comments like these are so inhumanly mean and snidely spewed as to deserve less than contempt. They deserve the same blase' indifference that the author him(her?)self deserves.
I know it's much easier said than done, but try to know -- with your heart, not merely your intellect -- that these comments are worth less than nothing; and have less than zero truth in 'em.

Well freak on out! That angered me just reading that garbage! Some people, JEEZ! It's amazing how many unhappy, bitter, angry, loathing, instigating, troublemakin' people that are out there just wanting to get a reaction; just wanting to bring their negativity, bitterness, ugliness on someone else. I say they do need some therapy to rid themselves of their venom. Or maybe just a good ole a**kicking! LOL. I feel sorry for the poor ole creep. Got nothing better to do than be miserable. Anonymous comments, I think, are like bad gossip. If what you've said behind someone's back isn't something you'd be equally willing to say to their face, you probably shouldn't say it.

anteros - yes, I did consider doing this but decided against it for 2 reasons. First, this person will then no doubt set up an account - after all, it only takes a minute doesn't it? And secondly, I have a couple of friends who don't have accounts and felt they shouldn't have to be put out just because of the 'idiot'. But depending on what happens, I'll take it from there. I've had a similar irritating toerag dropping in smartarse comments on my blog lately - very similar in tone, so it could even be the same guy - but whatever, initially I responded to a couple of his remarks with grace and wit, but when that didn't work, I just deleted his comments without reading them. A quick skim would confirm it was him again, and I just hit delete. Eventually he tired of his stupid little game and went away. When we open ourselves up like this, even in the limited way that I do, there's always going to be idiots who are jealous of the attention we're getting and who want to ruin our day. Just ignore 'em, and satisfy yourself with the fact that the rest of us think you're just fabulous, darling! xx
